To all the peace and freedom loving people of San Francisco Bay Area

Outraged by the brutal crackdowns and killings of monks and innocents, join/help organize the Peace for Burma Protest, March and Prayer Vigil on

Friday, October 5 from 2 pm to 6 pm in San Francisco:

Monasteries were raided, vandalized, many monks were beaten and taken. Many people are still taking to the streets, but beaten, shot and killed. 2:00 : 4:00 - Protest/Rally/mediation at Chinese consulate, 1450 Leguna Street
4:00 - 4:30 - March to United Nations Plaza Market Street Between 7th & 8th
4:30 - 6:00 - Prayer Service at United Nations Plaza


Yesterday's NY Times featured the picture of Japanese photographer Kenji Nagai being killed by SPDC soldiers firing automatic weapons into a peaceful crowd. Three out of five daily editions this week featured a picture from Burma on the front page.
